Message	about 0.001% of us here are building racecars You should try a better shortshifter then, or tweak the lower bolt fastening it to the linkage on the one you have. Doing so made a WORLD of difference on my once hated stillen shifter after I installed the bronze bushings. Once it is right, I cant imagine why anyone would want to go back unless they simply love the long shift throws. In which case buying a shortshifter would be tantamount to upgrading your stereo to a kid in the hatch playing songs on a kazoo.
